Rear brake disc shield. Where can i get one?
One of my retaining clips came off today when i was towing down the motorway. One of the park brake shoes fell forward and jammed/trashed the disc.
The pin/rivet for the the retaining clip to clip into is missing. Its falled out of the rear shield.
Where can i buy one? Can anyone give me the part number or correct name. I need one asap
Thanks
Spencer

Do you realise, that to change the backplate, requires removing the hub flange which will inevitably result in wheel bearing damage, requiring replacement. Not an easy DIY task. D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

I have just changed mine 2, and at the end I should replace 2 handbrake cables, and wheel bearings...
Lot of job, expensive and I also need a press to get out bearings... so specific tools.
