Open the boot, undo the two screws and pull the light cluster from the bottom the rest is self evident.  Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Changed one last week, had to give it a really good pull away from the rear, I started with the top then eased it out of the bottom, have fun! 2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)

Just changed one on my assistance vehicle,, the modified LR ones!.Very easy to do..

What do you mean by "the modified LR ones"? From your post I gather that the lights haven't been modified to stop the bulbs blowing every 2 months 
Or do you mean that the bulbs are modified?
