Invalid data received from differential control module - rear
Algorithm based failure - event information
Possible causes
Event Information
Actions Required:
Check for rear differential control module diagnostic trouble codes. Refer to the relevant section in the workshop manual.
The history:
Back last November I was getting numerous faults and poor starting in the morning due to a failing battery. I got a couple of TRANSMISSION FAULT, HDC FAULT, SUSPENSION FAULT, SUSPENSION LOWERING... errors, but put this down to the battery.
Changed the battery. Still got the faults.
No noticable problems / noise apart from that. If I stop the car, remove key, wait a little and restart all is fine.

There was a TSB for the rear diff some time ago - did you have it done.
It may be totally unrelated, but worth checking..
