Rear discs & pads
Changing my discs and pads all round I have had a search but can’t find any reference of how to put the in service mode unless it’s the same procedure as body’s D3bible any help will be appreciated

I did my Rear disks and pads last night. Took me around 30 minutes a side.
I blindly followed BB for the sequence, but had no indication of whether it worked, but I de adjusted the rear brakes through the hole and the disk slipped off easy enough.
Also noticed that my rear upper arm bushes are F ed MOT in July so I have a little time, but want to get them done.Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

But how did you put the EPB in service mode? If I recall I have read that you leave engine running, take EPB off, then pull the fuse. Not sure which fuse though. I need to know, because my rears need doing soon.MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

I followed Bodsey's Instructions (foot on the brake 3 times etc) for the service mode, but received no conformation that it was actually in service mode.
Removing the fuse (as far as I'm aware) is just a precaution so the EPB isn't activated while you're working on it..
The Fuse is FL8 if I remember correctly, it's in the fuse box under the bonnet on the N/S, next to the battery, it's one of the large square fuses, 30A.
The use of service mode is to give you a little more 'de-adjustment' to assist in removing the disk.
As I say, I don't know if it worked, but I de-adjusted it through the disk and it came off fine.Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black
