Rear prop shaft
Do any of you gentlemen know how much a new prop shaft would cost ? Car has been parked up for a while but Caravan season is on us so will need to replace it.

Make sure you have some female torx spanners, and the rear flange bolts are bloody tight!

I replaced my rear prop-shaft last August. I got one from Island, sold as GKN, badged as Brit Part.
I noticed that the serial number on the new prop was obliterated. I'm guessing this is a prop shaft from the GKN line, but maybe a second? perhaps the paint finish failed, or something else.
However, it appears to be ok on the car.

What's the symptoms of a worn propshaft
I've got a manual with a droning noise when I get over 40 louder under power but still there all the time and I think there's slight vibration
It sounds like it's coming from the middle of the car
CheersAll transmission oil replaced
3 flash indicators
All timing belts changed
EPB serviced
De cat fitted
Wind deflectors
De-tango done
Tints fitted
Egr blanked
