Rear Washer Fault

Have been to dealer today for first service on disco 4 and told by dealer that mice have chewed through the pipe to the rear washer...?? They have given me the pipe...said it isnt covered by warranty and will cost £125 to replace a 5 inch piece of pipe (however it did take the dealer 3 hrs to take off the rear panel!) This seems tlike a scam as the pipe comes from a sealed part of the car and it looks like it has worn on something rather than being eater by mice...anybody else experienced similar issues?

The Rear washer pipe......

ISTR the only part of the pipes that are exposed are the ones at the front where the washer bottle itself is. Once it goes into the engine bay it goes along the inside of the car, along the headlining and out through the rear to the tailgate..... Have a look at others on the forecourt, but it seems really strange that one!
