Rear wheel arches. How far have yours gone?
So one side has an obvious bubble patch (inch and half long) on the inside. I can feel it and flake it but I can’t see it. It’s not showing on the outside but it’s defo there
I don’t know if to treat it myself or get a body shop at it.
Has anyone actually got to the point it’s holed? You obviously didn’t spend 2.5k on a new panel. What did you do?

What he said above...
However when I read the subject line I thought that my rear wheel arches had gone about the same distance that the rest of the vehicle had travelled (never been off) and then I read further into you post about the problem you have.
But no, mine haven't suffered anything like that but have succumbed to scratches from my driving and inconsiderate parkers.
Is your damage in the plastic arches or are you referring to some metal behind the arches?
If it is the arches, maybe yours have previously had the heat gun treatment to 'refurbish' them.LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)
