Gary, the size of the rim ie 20" shouldn't really make a difference as the overall wheel height shoud be around the same.
The bigger the wheel diameter - the lower the profile of the tyre.

Biggest issue might be the width.
But if that is the case you could always have a spacer fabricated.

Good luck with it.

Cheers Ron.
Width is the only real issue I agree. And getting a spare wheel Smile
And.... Do you think I could get away with a 26mm spacer to address my rubbing issue????

I'd just try packing the studs out with oversize nuts and washers to check the width you need.
Then measure depth of packing and viola, thats the width of spacer you'll need.
Remember spacer fabrication, stud length etc not as critical as would be required on a wheel hub.

Thumbs Up

Cheers Ron. Have been chatting to a company called raytech who manufacture spacers and they inform me that I might possibly get away with 2mm shims but 26mm spacers are the smallest I should go for safety reasons.
Wheels overhanging arches is the concern, just can't make my mind up lol.
Touch and go, may just be legal.
Will look cool though!!
