Rear Wiper - Uncontrolled Intermittent - D4

All,

This may be a case of RTFM , but I thought I would ask.

I have tried the Search, and come across a few random responses.

The rear wiper.

A19 drizzle, Front wipers on automatic, going forwards (<80mph), Rear wiper is turned off.

Rear Wiper decides it is on Intermittent (no action on stalk can stop it) , turned off auto front, rear still intermittent.

Paused for a moment at Roundabout and continued, Rear Wiper Stopped.

...anyone else or just me? Laughing

Thanks Dave.

As useful as the delayed wipe on the front intermittent that wipes the salt back across the screen Twisted Evil

I've noticed that on mine too, bloody annoying especially when you haven't moved the stalk to operate it. Not found anything in the manual that relates to it either, but will read it again in case I've missed it Embarassed

Mine only seems to do it when I start up on a wet morning, one or two wipes and no more, stalk in the off position.

Worth remembering if it is an icy morning or covered with snow...guessing it would not do the wiper or motor a lot of good!
