REasons to fly Ryan Air

Hi All

Spotted this on you tube

At last a reason to fly with Ryanair
Nine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.

Also appears 9/10 of stopping is stopping in time

Left me at 10pm on a Sunday evening at a closed airport with a cancelled flight in Sweden a couple of years ago. No alternative flight until the following wed, outside temperature -26. Drove 200 Miles to next airport and paid £1000 to get 3 of us home the following day. . . . .

Despite the financial pressures we are not actually aloud to book budget airlines when travelling. With one of the main reasons being exactly what 90bhp experienced...

At least there is one corporate policy that makes sense...

(of course, I'm sure that it also has nothing to do with the fact that booking a budget airline means Carlson WagonLits doesn't get it's agency fee and therefore our company doesn't get it's global discount... Whistle )
The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Back in 2006 I drove the delightful (in case she reads it) Rolling with laughter SWMBO to her parents in the Czech Republic, got a flight from Brno back to Stansted with Ruinair, as we landed I looked out of the window and thought "this don't look like Stansted" within seconds our Captain informed us that due to bad weather (bit of drizzle) we had been diverted to Luton.

My problem was I had arranged for a mate to collect me in my car from Standsted, how I hate their complete lack of customer service, when you hear their MD refer to passengers as "Self loading Cargo" says it all really"

You get what you pay for with 'cheapo' airlines - a cheapo service - you really do pay your money and take your choice.

And I do use Ryanair - ONLY because they fly from Liverpool into Reus (nearr Salou) - its only 45 minutes down the AP7 to my dads place Thumbs Up RyanAir is sh*t (as is Liverpool's Glass Cow Shed Aerodrome) but is cheap Thumbs Up

....you just

have to remember to buy drinks & food just before you take off - even airport prices are better than Ryanair....paying what you have to for instant coffee & curled / dried sarnies is a joke.

OK they are low cost& nasty - what I really hate is the plonker who runs the whole thing....
He complained it affected his business when security was enhanced some time back...he should have been told to pish off or feck off out of the UK - PERMANENTLY
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
