2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Cairns Blue

D4 Xenons + Fairy lights

Do all D4 Xenons come with the LED fairy lights?

Looking through Microcat, it list halogens and "Signature" halogens, but only list Xenons or Adaptive Xenons, with no "Signature" option My D3 Build Thread

Ive read threads that say you cant activate them, mine looks like it has the pretty lights

but I cant them to work.

2013 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 GS Auto Loire Blue

From memory doesn't go like this for the D4 Lights up until MY15 when the light unit became even sweeter.
List is in order of effectiveness IMO:

1. Halogen - no fairy lights and found on the GS (and maybe XS)
2. Signature - Fairy Enabled with Halogen - e.g. 2011 Landmark Edition
3. Xenon - Fairy Enabled With Xenon
4. Xenon Adaptive - Fairy Enabled With Xenon and Adaptive
4. Xenon Adaptive Cornering - Fairy Enabled With Xenon, Adaptive and Cornering Lamps

Happily stand corrected but that's where I think we stand on the D4 2009-2014

it is not that simple. MY12 have fairy lights that only are sidelights (not DRL's) MY 15 have a different headlight which have signature lights which are DRL's and sidelights. .

Sorry, I should have made it clearer that the D4 09-14 Lights do not have DRLs (unless you try this sweet mod from discoteca).

The fairy lights are the side lights in all cases.
