Recommend somewhere to re-finish my Prospeed ladder

Can anyone recommend somewhere that can shot blast and re-finish my flaking Prospeed ladder?

I would ideally like it to be done in Raptor or similar textured finish.

I have been in contact with Prospeed and they can re-powder coat it for me, but they don't offer Raptor anymore apparently, so that's their only option.

Big Dave can ship it for me, so I can send it somewhere if the work can be completed for a reasonable cost, to a good standard and in the correct finish.

I've tried places locally in Surrey, but non seem to be able to offer a textured finish, and they all seem to want silly money for it.

Anyone got any recommendations??

How about doing it yourself? You can buy a diy 1 LT Raptor coating kit for about £25.

You could probably find somewhere local to shot blast it first Thumbs Up

Yes I did think about it.

I watched a few videos and it looks like you can roll it on with a foam roller, or spray it on somehow.

I haven't done anything like that before which is why I was a bit apprehensive. I don't want to end up with a poor finish and have to start again.

Was just hoping I could send it somewhere so that I know it would come back as expected.

Does raptor coat just paint onto bare metal then or does it need a primer or something first ?

I think it needs to have a primer applied if bare metal.

For £25, I'd risk just rubbing it down and applying the Raptor coating as per instructions and videos.

Worst case scenario is it looks Censored and you'll have to get it shot blasted. Thumbs Up

I did mine with skate board tape. Worked an absolute treat. About £3 from ebay.

I also did mine with skateboard tape. It's stayed in place with no more rust since I did this, just a bit faded.

That was the thread I was looking for. I did mine with skateboard tape as a direct result of reading this thread...
