Dear all,
Looking to replace my fuel filter soon, and looking to find opinion from forum.
Did search this, but couldn’t find anything specific.
Is it best to go LR original on the fuel filter, or are third party filters as good?
If so, any recommendetions (eg Mahle, Borg/Beck, Bosch)
Any to avoid (eg britpart)
Oh, and any advice on what makes a good low pressure fuel system bleed tool?
Thanks
Andy

I had a major issue once with a Britpart fuel filter, to be honest it put me off for good. I have used Mahle, Bosch, and M.A.N. over many years in other applications with never an issue that I can remember. For LR I now stick rigidly to LR filters, so that would be my recommendation to you.

I've got an unused early type genuine D3 fuel filter, box a bit tatty, £25 posted. Bought two but only used one before I parted with D3. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
