United Kingdom 2016 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 Landmark LE Auto Santorini BlackDiscovery 4

Arrived home on Saturday after a 14hour trip. D4 only needed to stop for fuel and to let us have a snooze and wee breaks!
Booked in again now with dealer for nothing but a permanent fix....report back next month.

Was fixed by dealer by replacing unit and bracket and spring clip.

United Kingdom 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 XS Auto Fuji WhiteDiscovery 4

Hi,
Having the same problem with 2011 D4, been ok for 2 years towing a twin axle and now as soon as I get to 50mph with van on it goes into RP.
Waiting for a replacement throttle body air doser and air duct, hope this fixes it.

Our D4 66 Landmark is booked in to Guy Salmon in Stratford-upon-Avon to get this restricted performance issue sorted again, for good this time.
Came on at weekend pulling away from a roundabout within spitting distance of the dealer but typically well after they’d closed 🙄🙁. Switch on and off and all ok.
Go and tow horse trailer today and it comes on again.
Checked under bonnet and took a pic.

With this pic and link to this thread given to the dealer hopefully they can get this sorted quickly. Tends to ruin the enjoyment of using the vehicle and with a trip planned to south of France soon it doesn’t do well for one’s confidence.
Will update ....

Hello All,

I had the same situation, and i did come back home from Wien to Basel, approximately 900 km. With this problem, lost of power some times after i drive more than 150 km/h ( in Germany ) and the same in Switzerland when i had to use the both of Turbos.

When this problem is coming out, try to not use the Second Turbo, you have to drive till 2.500 rpm or before and only with manual gear change, when goes automatically in Automatic you may have the error on dashboard.

Second thing. i have repaired mine and put that on place, till now its working good ( on stress too ) so it's not coming out and no errors on dashboard. It was only 1 teeth broken.

Hope this will help someone else.

Saluti
