Refurbing an alternator

I have removed the alternator from my scrap D3, rather than selling it on, its one of the few parts I'm keeping in case its needed for my new D3.

It worked as it should when fitted but I wonder if there is anything worth replacing whilst its on the bench

I rebuilt my failed alternator, and kept it as a spare. The replacement is still ok at the moment, but it's nice to have one 'in stock'
