hi all

i had the turbochip remap, no increase at all with the mpg but it has improved the power and have blanked both egr valves and removed the butterfly flap.

Hi to you all from a new member.
I live in Dursley, Glos and would appreciate your advice on the best remap to go for on my 2005 HSE.
Ideally i don't want to have to travel too far, in case the remap needed to be re-flashed, after servicing.

Would really appreciate people's own experience with tuning companies and advice regarding any other mods
which will compliment the remap and where i can get this work done, or who can come and visit me at home to
carry out the work.

Looking for a good solid map, with some flexibility to adjust if necessary. Also, who is doing any good deals.

What sort of power gains/improved driveability i can expect.

Would appreciate all your comments, thinking of maybe 5 alive or BOS.

Anyone local, i could chat too/meet up with to discuss their instalations.

Regards

I can vouch for TorqTune myself...Have not tried the others, but it definitely gave it a bit more oomph and (at the time) 2 mpg more than before I applied it. I have since changed the weight and the aerodynamics of the car so have lost that added fuel efficiency, but it still has that oomph.

i have the BAS box so i can choose standard or modified map, i am very happy with it, getting about 3/4 mpg more and car is now so smooth, the added power is very handy esp for overtaking Thumbs Up
