Remind me - differences between '05 S and '06 S

Apart from the deletion of standard Xenon headlamps, what else changed between the 2005 and 2006 model year S spec (in the UK)?

One thing they have done is change the model names... in order to get around less kit when compared to the last years models Wink

Neat trick LR seem to employ on all their vehicles after approx 2 yrs Shocked

06 got the Bright Pack as standard, was an option on 05, no other significant differences AFAIK

I think model name changes only come into affect on 07MY

Wasn't heated rear seats a deletion 'twixt years?
(plus no doubt, the loss of those ticket clips on the inside A pillars, a real cost-saving to LR)

There must have been a letter out to the dealers with the spec updates and all of the changes for 07MY but I haven't been able to find one. Would be keen to see if anyone can find one.

According to the www.buildyourlandrover.co.uk site a 2006 S comes with the Cold Climate Pack but only mentions Heated Front Seats (rears aren't mentioned, but aren't mentioned for any spec D3) but the spec list for the 06 S - http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/Vehicles/Di...ptions.htm - lists the Cold Climate Pack as having heated front AND rear seats

No Si, not looking at a particular D3 as yet.

I'm not so dim that I'd miss the old base/S misbadge trick Razz
