Remote 2nd & 3rd Row Stereo controls not working

Hi all,

My 2nd and 3rd row remote stereo controls are now not working! (They was!) have I some how without knowing disabled them? is there a button, switch or procedure to re activate them or have a possible fault?

Any ideas?
