Removable tow ball storage

I have had a look in the handbook and it suggests that there should be a storage section for a removable towball on the left hand side of the vehicle??

I don't seem to be able to locate it. Has anyone got one and if so any pics available so I can see exactly where it is supposed to go.

Thanks

ISTR that with the D3 the removable tow bar was always an optional extra and not standard to the car, the handbook tells you where it would be if you'd opted to have one. I assume that goes for the D4 also.

AS has been mentioned, you may not have one. It appeared to have been provided with D3s that were ordered with tow bar as a factory fit; dealer-fit ones lacked the £50 lump of polystyrene. Knowing how LR like to change spec. daily to keep their workers and dealers on their toes, I can't say whether this carried over to the D4.

Here is a thread with a picture of one being fitted to an D3 HSE with rear air conditioning. Up to you as to whether you want to spring a Jack Lord on it.

Thanks DrLex. Quite a tight fit with rear a/c unit in as well! I will chat to the dealer on Monday to see what the deal is there.

Thanks
