Removal of center console front structure
Hi all, getting to replace my glove box frame as I have repaired a couple hing spots that needed a little reinforcement.
I removed the entire frame for the glove boxes, by pulling and prising and almost breaking things to get it out. However to get things put right back in, I will need to remove the center front piece that holds the hole entire front facis and plastic molding pieces together undoubtedly.
So I have removed all of the screws in the piece as far as I know. Also the gear shift lever head, the cowling underneath the gear shift and the upper surround at the center console box.
I am stuck on removing the side pieces that run down the center console, but I can;t seem to find my way.

On an RRS, I found you had to unbolt the gear selector from the floor, to be able to push the console back a bit. (8 bolts)

This may help - found on this forum
Two bolts under the ashtray at the front
One bolt each side by the seat base under a little flip off grill thing.
Can be accessed by moving seats forward
