Removing dash panels?
Does anyone know how the 2 tall panels that run down either side of the centre console (radio/heater) are removed? I'm trying to install a Harmon Kardon drive & play & could do with the drivers side one coming off.

grip each side of the panel at bottom and pull out towards you ...hard!I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

...and then go searching for all the little metal spring clips that will no doubt have flown off nd disappeared into the dashboard

if you manage to trace an ignition controlled 'live' to use on the system let me know as I had to connect both the yellow and the red to the purple wire going into the main head unit plug ansd this is a perminant live.
That means ( and I know this is getting long winded! ) that the unit doesn't power up and down with the ignition meaning you have to remember to turn it off or rely on the auto power off function! Disco 3 2.7 TDV6 55 Buckingham Blue Base
