Replacement of Air Drier on AMK Air Suspension Compressor

Has anyone had to replace the air drier on their air suspension compressor?

My D3 is fitted with the upgraded AMK unit - fitted about 5 years ago.
The last couple of cold mornings the car has displayed a Suspension fault message that only "normal height" is available. I have read the fault code: C1A20-64(C2) - system filling slowly, some forums suggest that it could be the drier, others that it could be an air leak.

However if I start the car later in the day when it is a bit warmer I do not get an error message.

Does anyone know if the Drier is available separately or are Landrover fleecing us all again with the cost of a new compressor?

All help appreciated

I’ve just posted about my recent trouble in another post also but hopefully this will help you.
My car had a new AMK compressor fitted last year by its previous owner.
A few weeks back I started getting the same fault as you, which led me to believe that it was either the compressor or the reservoir at fault.
I got an AMK drier service kit from eBay and replaced the desiccant in the dryer. For the price I paid for it, I had nothing really to lose in starting with this.
Unfortunately the fault was still there, so the following weekend I dropped the reservoir down to the ground, leaving the pipework still connected. I then started the car to charge up the air system, and sprayed the reservoir with soapy water, and ‘Hey Presto’, bubbles appeared as below.
I ordered a new reservoir for £100 and fitted it the following weekend in about half hour. Now all back as it should be.
The reservoir was the original so it was 10 years old.

Hi thanks for the info,
I am going to take a look at it next week.
Phil at APB suggested that it might be the air tank as he has seen several of them pin hole.

Don't assume, sometime the leakage is not on drier, it could be on the rear/front or central air suspension valve

check with soapy water
