I need a new roof for my D3 and the repair shop has had my D3 for near on 4 weeks and after they went to fit a replacement roof on my D3, it was found to be wrong. LR Australia apparently have been requested to order another one from the UK with a delivery time of 10 days, well it is way over 10 days without any delivery date.
I'm assuming D3 roofs are the same across the MY's. I do not have an alpine roof. My D3 is built Feb 2005. I also assume they ordered a D3 roof and not a D4 roof (which might be different).
Anyone know if I'm being told porkies or in fact D3's have different roofs for the various MY's and this is really a mistake.

In the UK there will be two different roofs I imagine. The HSE spec which has the sunroofs, and S, GS, XS, and SE without.

AFAIK there no differences up to 09 models if tiny kitten is showing correct data (or if I am using it correctly is another matter).

... And for cars with the glass roof - AKB780040, with AKB780031 for the piece of steel between the glass and tailgate.
The glass roof panel is EFT500161 for cars with a roof-mounted antenna, or EFT500131 for cars without. The opening 'sunroof' panel itself is EFT500170.

Thanks for your replies. It could be porkies and they never actually ordered the roof to begin with - they have had 8 weeks before I even took it to them and at that time they had confirmed LR Australia had a roof in stock.
I can only imagine they sent an Alpine roof - that would have been so obvious
Unfortunately it has been such a long time since I used a smash repairer and don't have any rel;ationship with one so I aked my insurance company to recommend me one which I thought was the way to go - maybe that was a bad decision.
