replacing the air filter

Been looking on here but can't find the answer... how do I replace the air filter Embarassed

I think it is front left of engine bay (haven't looked yet) as I've received a new one from Nick yesterday...

Very embarassing not to know, but I might just go explore. Can't be that hard... but sure I saw a thread on here somewhere with pictures Confused

Many thanks

Paul

Big black box front left of the engine bay as you're looking at it, undo the screws (8 of them I think) and pull the top up enough to the get the filter out/in. Some people disconnect the pipe it connects to too but I've never bothered, there's enough room anyway

I thought it was something like that. Thanks chaps. Off to find my screwdriver (and replace the two blown brake lights as well, that have only just blown Whistle)

That was the one I was looking for. Ta. Job done. The old one was quite black - not sure how much difference it will make but worth a try. Thanks
