Reroute of Exhaust for better clearance, etc ?????

I'm searching for another solution, an exhaust reroute. Anyone done one or know if their are any kits around?

I have heard that a company is planning a reroute for the very back section of the exhaust to aid in clearance and to prevent the, ever joyful, squishing of the exhaust near the diff. It's not out yet and I'm wondering if anyone has done it and knows where to reroute the exhaust to. Should be able to just by welding the new pipe to the existing pipe without having to replace the whole thing.

Please let me know, I'm keen...

Was looking at an ASFIR Skid Plate but they are apparently hopeless here in the states and I can't seem to get one. Are there any other skids for the Rar Diff/Exaust area out there?

Cheers
JZ

Asfir and exhaust options.

Did you phone the Scottsdale(office) or Connecticut(distribution) 'phone numbers of Asfir ?
The latter is 860 963 0230

http://www.asfir.com/BranchFullEN.asp?ID=11 ( this is the office )

http://www.asfir.com/catalogueDesEN.asp

The Email goes to the Israeli factory(who don't ship, but will do factory gate pickup ! Rolling Eyes )
and Susan Shefer .

The exhaust option is going to be trouble ....... look at a plate, or a lift with shorter susp. rods
(as I've gone for).

Have you got a full size tyre ? That'll be protected by a plate.
The plate is a tight fit for V eight pipes as the diameter in slightly larger
than V six pipes ( if memory serves ... ).

Re: Asfir and exhaust options.

Thanks Neil

yeah i've emailed and nothing and then spoke with someone at Scottsdale afterr they never returned my email. the reply was they would get backk to me. i tried again and they said that they were waiting on the overseas reply. basically not interested.

I'm now having a plate made by HiCountry and that should do the trick modeled after an Aussie design. it'll be steel and i'm happy with it.

Still keen to find a way to reroute the exhaust though. I'm sure it's trickky.

CheersJZ
