Restricted Performance Issue...

Hi all,
Very new to this site so apologise if I'm doing this wrong.
Recently purchased my Discovery 4 2009 TDV6, brought as sold as seen.
Within a matter of 24 hours of driving her away the car put itself into "Restricted Performance" With a red triangle to indicate. The car still drove fine, required a heavier foot when going up hills but apart from that didn't feel too sluggish. It also cleared with a simple restart of the car & would only go into this when giving the car some Censored , or on a cold start and high revs on a hill etc.
Once back at the garage, I plugged in my code reader and found the MAF sensor was throwing up a fault code specifically AirFlow B. Me being me I just brought two new ones and replaced the pair thinking I'd stop any other issues. Wrong
As soon as we replaced the MAF sensors, we plugged the code reader in to clear the fault & immediately the code reader threw up a MAP sensor code along with the beautiful Engine warning light this time!
Slightly frustrated I ordered a new MAP sensor. A week went by with premiant RP before it arrived, once replaced & the code reader plugged back in, Whulaaa! All faults cleared and all lights gone!
Until a day later...
Driving as normal and boom RP again, gutted, back to the garage. Code reader plugged in and too my surprise the MAP sensor came up again, cleared the fault. Off we go again, however it still comes on every now and again, not always under heavy speed, sometimes first thing in the morning when I pull off of my drive and onto a rather steep hill, RP. If I boot it, RP. Then some days I can drive all day and not have it once. Until today the management light returns!!
Before I pull my hair out over, or waste money buying things that won't work, has anyone had a similar issue or know of any suggestions?

Feel free to ask anymore info although I feel I've covered most of what I can.
Thanks IA

Oh dear... Expensive from what I hear?
Is it possible to do without a chassis removal?

It is and it isn't. I had my first one replaced but my second has been glued with this special two part glue and its fine.

Lift the engine cover and have a look at the inlet manifold side closest to the wings.

Hmm interesting! I'd quite like the glue option as I don't plan on having this one too long.
I'm guessing I won't directly see the crack, assuming it's hairline / any chance of a photo? Smile
Also what glue do you recommend? As you can tell I've never really come across these issues before new to the LR scene
