Restricted power but no fault code |
|
Hi, I have the Restricted Power come up as well, plugged my IID BT in but it shows no faults. Well no relevant codes any way, B124A-15 and B124-14 which have to do with the running lamp. Am I supposed to look under faults on the IID tool or something else?
Using IIDTool BT V3.0 B2624
BCM-Body Control
• B124A-15 (2F) Right daytime running lamp - General electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open

• B124B-15 (2F) Left daytime running lamp - General electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open

IPC-Instrument Pack

Just to close this post off, I had the problem arise again a short while later. The upshot was that the plenum chamber (subsequently described as an elbow) and the throttle body were replaced under warranty. The joint seems to have moved slightly since but is still holding.
For anyone finding this post following a search for the same problem, a more comprehensive description of the problem and what seems to be the ultimate fix (i.e. replacing both the elbow and its support bracket) can be found in Desb’s posts.
