Hi everyone,
and another question
In the owners manual which came with my Disco it said that I could retract the mirrors by turning the knob into centre position and then push it downwards.
Guess what? Nothing happens! Is this a failure or could this option not be installed at my Disco?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Wim

sorry I meant spec wise, I have a hse and my mirrors do retract, however i know friends who have different spec models and theirs still has the icon on the mirror control button but no motors are fitted to the mirrors and so they do not retract. If you have a hse or se I believe that it should be fitted and may be a fuse?

Ah I see, it's a hse.
What is the icon you are referring to? If I look at the manual I can see an arrow like shape from left to right (pointing down a bit). I don't have that...
could it be fitted afterwards?

yes that is correct the arrow icon thing must be standard if the power mirrors are fitted or not. I dont know if you can retro fit the motors ? I dont see why not but it would probably mean a new set of mirros with the motors fitted and plug the wiring in? But not really sure sorry

Hmmm no icon here... I'll ask the stealers about retro-fitting.
Many thanks,

There are lots off differences in specs between countries. A Dutch HSE is about the same as a SE in the UK. I have a Southern Europeen spec HSE and that doesn't have the cold climate pack which is standard on the HSE in The Netherlands.
I don't have that arrow either and till now I never managed to fold the mirrors in by pushing the button down, so I probably don't have it either. Roel

Sorry it's in Dutch and with google translator it gets funny.

Hi Roel,
thanks for this info. I wasn't really aware of that. There wouldn't be a list or an overview containing the differences between the localizations somewhere would there?
Best regards,
Wim
