Retro fitting cornering lights

Hi,

I would like to fit cornering lights to me D3 currently I just have a blanking plate in this space. I understand it will need a CCF edit which I can do with my iid tool, is there any additional wiring that will need to be done?

I have fitted the lights but do not have the red feed wire to pin 4 at the headlight. Looks a big job so on hold for the time being

I Retrofited xenons with cornering lights to my 2006 base spec a quick CCF change and worked perfectly.

Admirable is it on the headlight itself that the wire is missing or on the car?

On the car, there needs to be a red wire on the multiplug that fits onto the headlamp unit

I think it should but it defo won't work if there is no red wire

Had a little look. I think I have the red wire required. Is this correct? Apologies for the picture I can take a better one if needed.

There are 8 wires on mine and I retrofited cornering lights and they work perfectly.

Sounds promising! Where did you source a bulb holder from? Are the bulbs H8?
