Fitting instructions available on the Land Rover Owner Info website

http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/extfree2viewlrprod/index.jsp

If you're using Internet Explorer make sure you have PopUp's enabled for this site

They're very straightforwards to fit Thumbs Up

Hi Crunkie, very easy to fit. Assuming you've got the instructions which come with the rails?
Pic 1. not necessary to take full infill out of roof if you work/measure from rear. Lift the infill, starting at the rear and watching the paintwork, just far enough to get a large rag under it at the cut point - see pic 4 - to catch the metal filings. (You need a decent fine tooth hacksaw as the infill is stainless steel backed ) ( Also suggest you have other protection on the rest of the roof in case the infill or new rail skids about! ) Dont bend the remaining infill out of shape at the cut point as it goes back under the front end of the new rail ( Pic 7 ). I used silicone grease in the bolt holes ( Pic 7 & 8 ) once I had removed the plastic " plugs " which kind of unscrew rather than lift out ( pic 3 ) for lube and w/proofing. The instruction diagrams are not exactly what you find under the infill strip but you'll cope. Note - the two rails are " handed" ie slightly curved to suit whichever side of the roof they fit - the bolt hole locations give you a clue too. Watch out for metal filings getting into the slots on the roof unless you want rusty debris later. I also used silicone lightly on the rubber " blades " on each side of the new rails to ease their insertion into the slots. Easy peasy!!
