The world wide web says my AUX input is just below the air vents in front of middle seat.
Hell no. Not in my ride !?!
Am looking to fit a DAB via AUX so I can catch Radio 6, but the AUX just ain't there
If any of you guys can help, me and me ear holes will be forever grateful.

Might sound really silly but what do you have there then? There should be a rectangular piece of plastic which moves up/down and underneath that there is an AUX jack and usually a 12 V electrical socket.

Not sure why this beasts AUX is not in usual place.
The pic shows that instead of a cover plate, there is a recessed section.

What model of Discovery do you have, I'm thinking along the lines that the socket was only fitted to high end models.

Ah, yes, I figured out you had added the picture to your gallery.
What kind if a D3 do you have? Aux exists where it should be in my HSE with a 6 CD changer and HK Logic 7 (manual refers this to premium audio system).

You can get to the wires in the footwell or behind the head unit on the smaller connector.

Simon, had you bothered to fill out your profile with your car details, year, spec etc. you would get a much more concise response to your request for help.
I've said it before but the guys here are good, sadly they are somewhat lacking in giving a psychic diagnosis.
I'm guessing you have a pauper spec D3. Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails
Make your own Narpy grill thread
I'm not scared, I'm outta here.
