In light of whats being said about Peterborough LR why don't we have an area where we can praise the dealership for their fantastic CS etc...in other words focus on the positive ones as a way of encouraging the not so good ones. Word will eventually get round to all dealers about this site I'm sure Wink

Dom, I can assure you, even if they don't mention it or even deny it, there is a edict around now about the site. Disco3 is famous for its positive attitude and actual loyalty to Land Rover. It is also well known for its stand against the lack of communication from LR.

Yes word will get out, but I think we will be a very small percentage of the people buying & getting our cars serviced!
But on the other hand we will know which ones to avoid!

Smile yep i would go for that, it would also help us choose another dealer if a local one was below par and i know that some of the Peterborough LR management team read this site and would welcome warm feedback

I would be very much in favour of this. If enough dealers get together and start threatening Land Rover that they will be selling Toyota's instead, maybe Land Rover and Ford will realise the error of their ways and change for the better.

My brother has just bought a Lexus, and the customer service is something to behold!

My dealer in Peterborough sells just about all makes of car in fact, from Skoda to Toyota, they also own Cambridge airfield.

I suppose this is the case, Guy Salmon is part of the Sytner group, who are massive and own many high street dealer franchises.

You are right, but they still should not be put to task by the manufacturer with defects that are known and the manufacturer denies.

Profit scales, I think you will find that VW/Skoda are the best with vitually nill defects. Worst I think is Land Rover and Mercedes with many. I would really like to find the actual figures, not just hearsay ones.

I can tell you which dealer group to avoid, I have a feeling that it's probably the same group that Turbochip is selling his upgrades to
