rimmer bros service a tdv6

Hi all,
I just watched a video on YouTube by rimmer bros showing you how to service a tdv6 engine and the guy doing it tells you to put the new oil filter in the housing and then screw it on. That can’t be right can it?
I’d put the link on but don’t know how too, it’s not hard to find

That is actually the official replacement procedure from JLR workshop manual...

However, I fit it into the oil cooler first, then screw the cap on Thumbs Up

I fit mine the same as you do, I thought the other way was how the filter can get crushed.

That's definitely the hardest way to do it. Filter first, then housing.
