Roaring on cold start

Just over 1000 miles and the D3 seems fine and is excelling at being a family workhorse and even done a bit of off roading but.....

First use of the day, so cold start, the engine roars with little forward momentum almost as if the clutch is slipping but the rev counter shows all is normal and this noise goes after a couple of minutes.

Anyone else notice this.

Ta.

Nothing to be concerned about; quite normal.
