Robbie, are you still using the tc4 advanced? If so how are you getting in with it??

I'm thinking of purchasing one from the bay now the weather is getting cold.

Cheers

Yep, working well but not hooked it up to the alarm yet.

Thank you Robbie, I might have to make a purchase. Is there anywhere that is good to buy, or is evil bay as good as any?

Cheers Lee

Does the TC4 just plug in on a D4 or do you have to wire it in like you would on a D3?

Pete.

Just to expand on my question, will the TC4 plug into the loom in the boot without mods or do you have to fit it like you would in a D3? Im guessing as Robbie hasn't just plugged it in, it's not that simple.

It can either replace or augment the normal remote unit located in the boot. The unit comes complete with suitable leads.

Ok brilliant. Was not wanting the normal remote, we know there is a good signal where it's parked and never know when it's being used so the timer isn't much use, but being able to text 20 mins in advance is a good option.

Are the leads already fitted with the plug for the vehicle as well or is that something that I would have to do? Are the leads correct on the normal TC4 as well as the advance? Any what exactly is the difference between the TC4 and TC4 advance?

Sorry for all the questions, I've read and read about it but it's not really clear to me yet.

Many thanks.

Pete.
