I had ordered the trim removal kit and arrived today - just awaiting the fastenings and can start fitting.

For anyone considering this job, a set of trim removal tools are a must.

Removing the old LR steps was a pig due to the rusted and ceased step bolts which either spin or shear off. Fortunately my 5 year old steps were so rusted that I could access the bolt heads by removing the rubber step treads and scraping away the rust...
