Roof bars and pod for Discovery 3

Hi all,
I am wondering what a good set up is for cross bars and pod?
Am I correct in that the car needs to have 'channels' (rails) fitted (by service department?) first? And then I can get something like Rola or Rhino cross bars?
I have a MY07 TDVSE.

thanks in advance for your thoughts.
 regards
Peter

You can buy the Landrover rails and cross bars but you will have to mortgage your house.

Rhino make rails (lower profile to the Landie ones) and cross bars/racks etc - look at the Rhino site and you will find all you need, even prices. About a quarter of the Landie price.

You can fit them yourself if you are a bit handy

I concur with Garry, I have Rhinos fitted, it is a simple job. But if you don't have the time I sure the Rhino dealer can do it or you at a rasonable price.
