Roof Bars Recommendation Please. ?? |
|
Hi.
I've seen so many differing prices for roof bars. (Disco 3)
Can anyone recommend some that are good but don't cost too much?
Thanks in advance.

I use Whispbar roof bars. They are very quiet and reasonably priced. Bri

I use the Rhino (rhinobar ?) ones which were really cheap if not a bit chunky. Pleased with them though!
They’re the same ones you see on commercial vans. Very solid.

I also have a set of the aero whisper bars
Not cheap, but don't know they are there even at motorway speeds...

Completely depends on what you want them for! For instance:
Are you happy to pay a lot for something that will be very quiet, but where capacity (in width and/or weight) might be slightly limited?
Are you not too bothered about noise and want something that's extremely robust / bomb proof?
What are you likely to be carrying? Are you going to put a roof box on it and if so, do you have it already and what is it?
Is their security against theft of the bars and what's attached to them important to you?
What's your budget? 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
