I have just picked up a 6 month old HSE and it has no rubber strips in/on the roof rails (front to back T Track).
I have emailed the Dealers for some feedback/new ones FOC (seeing they should be there anyway).
I'll let you know the outcome.

HSE's have Roof rails as STANDARD. Rubber trim only runs from the windscreen to the front of the rails on either side.

Ah-ha!. Sooooooooooo the T Track on the 'raised roof' (2nd row back) doesnt have rubber infills?. The rubber parts people are talking about are from the 'A' post to the riased part (near the 'B' post)?
Am I correct?

Correct I think!!!!!!!!
Here is my HSE, rubber trim is only from the windscreen to front of rails, the rails on mine have the crossbars fitted. Hope the picture clears it up for you.
All other D3's have rubber trim from windscreen to rear doors I beleive

Thanks guys
The aerial photo explains everything clearly. The XS is like the HSE with rails from the 'b' pillar area to rear doors and rubber strip from A to B pillars

To add further confusion Disco3newbie, I think the rubber strips that people were referring to, were on the centre section of the roof (cross) bars. These pull out, exposing the 'T' track underneath, for attaching other things to the bars.

Correct, would be interested in a set of those rubber strips to if an available part?
