Roof mount LCD Screen install - Different questions...

Ok, just to start off, I al the proud new owner of a 2006 LR3 HSE. I love it!

Now, on to the important stuff...
My family and I go on road trips quite often. Its about a 700 mile trip up into the mountains. I want to mount 4 flip down LCDs to the roof of my 7 seater. All the power, ground, and AV cables will be routed through the headliner. The DVD player will be in the upper glove box and the power and ground under the bonnet.

Soooooo, here's my dilemma. I REALLY dont want to chop up my headliner. I also do not want to lose my dome light or rear HVAC controls. Here is my only idea. Get some 1/8'' or 1/4'' ply and wrap it in the headliner material. Then, somehow attach it to the gap between the headliner and the roof.

This probably doesn't make any sense at all. Thats why I'm here!

Here is an image of what I'm trying to do. Please let me know what I should do!

Have a look at the Prestige Audio site ...(they are sponsors of disco3.co.uk) they have a very neat solution ....I think that you might lose a practical application with four screens as the rearmost seat passengers will find the screens are too close ..... the prestige solution is easier on the eye perhaps ?

See what you think

I have taken a look at those. I sent them en email. I am in the US, so I would like to purchase locally. I pretty much know what I need, I just dont know how to mount them without cutting.

looks to me like the screen location might give problems for those of us with long legs. I will have the seat all the way back, and I would expect to hit my head on the screens with that install!

I have a single 8" DVD player (all in one unit), mounted where the alarm module sits (with the sensors re-located into the DVD base plastic). Works well, with the screen being veiwable from all rear seats. Have a look in my gallery.
