I’ve had an Ifor P6e with mesh sides and a cover for a while and it’s perfect for just about everything! It comes with either a ramp or tailboard so bikes would be easy. Loads of space to pack round tgem and when you get to site just unhitch and away you go… just make sure you buy a good lock to go with it (Bulldog or similar) and have space to keep it at home.
Only thing I would change is to move up to the P7e or P8e for a little bit of extra space

Hi, the lid does have two locks on it and it lifts up on gas struts. I’ve got a tow hitch lock and a wheel clamp on at the moment so hopefully it won’t get nicked. Luckily enough we have plenty of space to keep it.
It does have disadvantages of having to go a bit slower but at least it gives us so much more space.
Just need to practice reversing with it, you can’t see it in the mirrors.

Nice trailer
Some people put two vertical markers (eg lengths of polypipe) at the front or rear corners of the trailer so they can see when reversing. Just high enough to see through the back. Maybe even one would do.
Or can I suggest you get a rear camera. This makes it VERY easy to reverse with any trailer. The factory fit reverse camera on my D4 was superb. The wider-angle/fish-eye type one on my range rover isn't as good, slightly, but it still makes reversing a breeze as you can see the tiniest turn on the trailer instantly and yo know exactly how to steer in response.
My RR is supposed to have Tow Assist with the steering via the terrain selector knob thing but I don't think it's activated as my tow bar wasn't fitted by LR D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Lee, which tow bar mounted rack do you have? And would you recommend it?

Hi there it’s a Thule 949 easy base, with a bag that we could fit the tent in. It’s really good, how the hell it stays in place I don’t know, we have used it a few times and it’s easy to put on and take off
There is one on eBay at the moment.
Regards Lee

Thanks for that.
I looked on the Thule website and it looks good. There was no mention on there of an accessory to allow it to carry bikes, which is a shame - that would make it really very versatile. I like the idea of using it for different purposes.
I know you started the thread querying putting bikes on your roof, so I assume you haven't been successful (or haven't tried) using this to carry bikes?

Well, that's odd - on the Thule website there was no mention of the "easybike" accessory on the list of accessories suitable for the carrier base. But there it is on ebay. That really does make it very versatile. Expensive - but versatile.
thanks for the heads up.

I’m pretty sure you can put normal Thule bike racks on it.
We used it to give us more space in the car and put the kids bikes on the roof.
It doesn’t look like you’re far from me, if you want to come and have a look you’re welcome to
