Roof Rails

Is it possible to fit roof rails and cross bars to a D3 that has never had them?

Absolutely.....fitting rails is fairly foolproof and takes under an hour there is a bit of cutting required to the channel cover but be brave with the hacksaw..

...crossbars can be a little fiddly at first but take minutes to put on \ take off when your used to them.

Codes are CAB500120PVJ & CAP500020
Some dealers sell them discounted on ebay - example or 'phone Nick at Yeovil LR (01935 426600) for disco3 members' discount.

Fitting instructions can be found on the LR OWners website.

Obviously the cross bars are easier to fit than the roof tracks - you will have to cut the 'blanking strip' which hides the bolts when you fit the tracks.

Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles
