Dom, you, me and 99.7593% of the population are not neurotic 'creative' enough to own a mac (other than the one flashers get caught in) so don't worry about it, just keep running the virus scans and windoze update and all your 'free' software will be fine Thumbs Up

Vista is officially sh****t - XP is plenty good enough, and solid (after nearly 8 years FFS Rolling Eyes ) - may be Windows 7 might be worth looking at... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Not sure you'll run games on a VM (I've not tried) but rebooting with boot camp with XP or whatever will be quick enough. Mine is running with both systems all the time so I can have a foot in both camps. I prefer the mac side, but work says I have to have a PC. Without starting the usual debate Stu; have a look at one - if you visit a store they actually know what they are talking about and you can go to free training sessions for all the film/photo apps. Even in the 15 months I have had one more and more stuff runs on the mac.
