RRS front seats into D3

Well, after 2.5 yrs and over 50k miles, I still cant get comfy in my D3 S seats, even after the seat base update (larger, firmer side bolsters).

So...as the D3 and RRS share the same floorpan, I'm guessing that seat mounting points are likely to be in the same place, such that a RRS seat, including its frame, would probably fit a D3. I've seen a couple of RRS's being broken, just wondering if its worth haggle a price for a couple of front seats. Are all RRS front seats electrically operated (with RRS owners being lazy gits)?

I can't get properly comfy in my D3 HSE seats either Sad . The seat squab does not seem long enough to support my legs as it finishes a few inches before the back of my knees. I am 6 ft tall.

I had a RRS supercharged and found the seat great, so if it is possible to fit them in a D3 I would be interested too.

PS Not all RRS owners are lazy gits Laughing

This is an 'upgrade' i've been considering for some time, the RRS seats are much more supportive especially offroad, the mounting points and the SMM are the same so it should just be a 'bolt out, bolt in' job

Snap, still find side bolsters quite uncomfortable, especially after any distance.

Lazy gits? Evil or Very Mad

How very dare you ......... but the seats are incredibly comfortable Bow down

Incidentally - if you are not able to fit into your seats I can recommend any number of diet or exercise programs to assist Whistle Whistle

Think it may be the "lack of padding" in we D3 athletes that's the problem Whistle

I would be interested in this too as I have always found the D3 seats really uncomfortable.

Glad it is not just me who finds the seat less than comfy. The biggest issue for me is the lack of any sort of tilt mechanism. I prefer my knees to be slightly above my hip. Having been used to the excellent sport seat in my BMWs where I could pull out an additional bolster at the front of the seats the Discos are a disappointment.

Would there be a possibility to change the mount of the front of the seat to make the base higher?
I think there is nothing seriously wrong with the seats.
