Hello Guys just wondering if someone can give me some insight on what the issue with my disco 4 is. I have a MKII Disco 4 3.0TDI and am getting a charge fault on my dash. It turns on about 10 seconds after I turn the car on and my low beam xenons are not working (figuring due to this charge fault). I am getting about 13.8V on the battery when I check with a Voltmeter and am not sure if this is enough. A mate seems to think its an alternator issue but the car only has 52,000km on it. Can...

Hi peeps,

quick question;

I am looking to instal a camera behind the mirror (Blackvue), but note that at the base of the mirror there seems to be a lens facing forward. Wondered if this was a sensor for headlights or anything else? Can I obstruct it?

Can anyone tell me where the TCM for the 3 Litre D4 is located (I assume at driver's side rear of engine bay) and how expensive they are? I have seen them for about $280 (Bosch made in Hungary) Many thanks

When I have a trailer attached all the sensors are disabled ( front and back )

Is this correct for a MY2012 car

On my D3 it was only the rear that was disabled or is there another setting in the ccf /eucd I have missed ...

i have to exchange one of my key fob due to the fact the rubber coming loose. I know there is a SSM about that issue and my stealer already ordered the new key fob.

My dad just tried to call me from his D4, there is no sound at all, the phone is connected and when he calls me it is just silent on my phone, i can't hear anything not even a crackle

In the car, you can't hear anything either, no sound at all outgoing or incoming just silent again

This is happening if he phones out, or I phone him

I have tried deleting the phone on the car and iphone and repaired them

I ordered my vehicle with Adaptive lights and went in an underground car park today. When I had them on an Audi a few years ago, you could really see the lights move left-right with the direction of the steering wheel. I didn't see anything of the sort on the Disco today.
The Audi's worked on dipped as well as full/main beam.
Please advise.

I have a recurrent warning light fault in my 2009 Discovery 4 HSE. The airbag light, brake warning and yellow triangle and a visual wording of parking brake fault come on pretty much simultaneously. They do not go off when the ignition is turned off although that did occur a few months when the problem began.

I took it to a dealer (it is under warranty) who cleared the fault codes but the fault has now recurred, although not immediately after the clearing. The lights come on...

Having a Transmission flush on my D4 today and just been rung by workshop to tell me the car is stuck in Park and they can't drive it off the hoist. Anyone had this strange experience?
