After some advise, am looking at a Discovery TD5 1999 as a bit of a project. Car is in good condition generally but has a fault with the engine, it would appear that the head is cracked next to number 1 injector, has anyone heard of this or had thesame issue. If so how did you fix it, was the head welded or replaced with a new one.
Any info would be appreciated.

We have a 2003 VW polo on Co-op insurance that requires the same ICE to be in place. You cannot connect an external source to the player, so this seems a reasonable way to be able to play music from another source?

Team GB managed a total of 20 medals at the Warrior Games this week, not bad for a team of only 30.

Mcsimmo junior came 4th in all 3 of his track finals, so no medal, but I'm proud of what he, and the rest of the team achieved.

After spending around the £6.5k mark this year alone of the D3, she has developed a big rattle and an expensive sounding squeak.
I think the rattle is something simple like a heat shield that the dealer didn't put back on properly after fitting the new fuel pump, so need to get that back to them to look at.
The squeak is the rear bearing I think, I have had new hub assemblies on both sides at the front, so pretty sure it is the rear now that need doing.

So on the same vane as the Isle of Skye thread Im likely going to Lewis at the end of the month, so any things I should not miss whike Im there, also probably driving up but am thinking of flying from Glasgow and hiring a car when I get there, thoughs on that, probably about cost nuetral with fuel and ferry costs.

An opportunity has arisen within my current sector and they need a cv - problem is the last time I did one was in my 20's....now 46 and have been the captain of my own destiny now since late 09.
