rubber gaitor rear shock

rubber gaitor rear shock

The rubber gaitor on the rear shock has had its strap break and has moved up inside.

Is there an easy way of getting back out and attach it back to its original place?

In extended mode, it appears to be able to be accessed more.

Has any one had this problem?

I can not take it to the dealer, as the car gets shipped north to Cains on Monday for a 14 day trip to Cape York

Or should I not be concerned?

If you have a big trip coming up I would fix it.
Use silicone spray and give a a good spray up the centre. This should help you pull the gater back down. Re-attach it with a jubillee clip.
