Sorry one of those hot sleepless nights, I have re-read your first post. What I believe is happening from what I can see is the ECU is powering up but the supply is collapsing and the ECU is rebooting every 2 seconds hence the reason that your are getting the trouble codes logged from the supply voltage to the DC/DC this means the internal voltage will be dropping <5V. Capacitors are charging then collapsing as there is not enough current to keep the ECU powered.

As Mikey says the car will crank and start, but the ECU ir rebooting and resynching with the BCU until it fails. Resetting the fuse hard resets a flag that has probably been set internally in the ECU after 6 attempts.

So this is either a supply problem as already highlighted or an internal ECU problem where an internal capacitor has broken down (acts as a reservoir to internal circuitry) this is absolutely symptomatic of either. I still believe it to be supply problem personally as it is extremely rare for automotive electronics to fail but you might be the unlucky one.

Have you got a wiring diagram to check all the supply voltages and earth potentials and relay feeds? Owning a Discovery 3 is like dating a model.. a firm body and shape, wow.. the ride is fantastic >

It seems like the bcu is happy with the key and therefore enables the starter, but the ecu to bcu syncronisation is disturbed and therefore the ecu shuts down. The car went to a land rover agent today so lets see what they find...

Yes the car was fixed by reprogramming the ecu, done by a Land Rover dealer.
