[For Sale] 2006 D3 SE Auto
The time has come to move Vinnie on as he has been replaced with a D4. He was my daily driver before buying the D4 so runs okay. He is Java black, is the SE spec, windows tinted, has Ivory leather interior and hasn't let me down in the 4 years I've owned him.
My intention was to put him through an auction as it needs some big work done and I didn't want any come backs or to sell someone a duff vehicle face to face!! However, I've decided to advertise it on here incase somebody wants to buy it for any parts they may want and then sell it on themselves or scrap it. I was going to strip it myself and sell the parts but I just don't have the time.
My brother in law works at a local auction and has been keeping an eye out and he is confident I'll get £3k for it.
So with that in mind all ask £2,800 for it here.
If you were buying this as your everyday car then it's priced high, but if you want to use a lot of the bits to upgrade yours and then sell it on I think it's a good price. You can check this thread out for an idea of the bit's I have done
Split charge, day time running lights, FBH controller and Rear led light have all been removed.
The bad bits first........

Gearbox needs reconditioning
Fuel pump is loud and I think will need replacing at some point (has been loud for months but still driving ok)
Needs both belts replacing
Needs a service
Interior is looking tired and well used
Sat nav screen is unresponsive
The good bits........
Just replaced both bottom front arms with uprated RRS arms
AMK Compressor
It has a D4 front brake upgrade
New brake pipes fitted all round
Working FBH
New coolant reservoir
Xenon headlights with Osram Nightbreaker bulbs (detango'd with powerful uk stickers added)
Colour coded bumpers complete with park sensors
Colour coded wheel arches
19" HSE Alloys later type
Replaced the prop shaft
Reconditioned steering rack fitted with new tie rod ends
Replaced steering universal joint
Replaced ARB links
replaced both front wheel bearings with Timkin
New AC condenser and regas
Towing electrics fitted
Heated screens
There might be bits I've forgot so I'll update as and when I remember! I'll take some up to date pics when I've cleaned it but you can see some existing ones in the above thread.
