United Kingdom 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3
[For Sale] 2006 Discovery 3 HSE Auto 87k - FSH + Warranty

Hi,

Looking to sell my Discovery 3 as I am looking to swap to a two car set up in the house.

She is a 2006 Discovery 3 HSE Auto 2.7 TDV6 in Silver with 87,000 miles (likely to rise slightly as still in daily use).
Usual HSE Specs:
-Full black leather interior
-Sat Nav
-Front and rear heated seats
-Dual Front and separate rear zone climate control
-Cruise control
-Harmon Kardon Logic 7 stereo
-Fully tinted rear windows
-Front and rear parking sensors

Extra's:
-Discovery 4 '7 spoke' alloys (including spare)
-Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac AT tyres with plenty of tread.
-LED bulb upgrades (reverse lights, side lights, corner lights, all interior lights, additional internally mounted tailgate light). Fog lights are Phillips Diamond Vision.
-Grill mounted twin LED lightbars.
-Light Guards

The car has a full service history having been serviced at 14k, 25k, 31k, 39k, 45k, 48k, 54k, 61k, 66k, 76k and 86k.

Timing belts were done at 54k.

Front brake calipers and discs plus all round brake pads changed 6 months ago.

New tensioner pulley plus alternator and battery done 2 weeks ago.

10 months MOT remaining (Oct '19)

The car has an aftermarket 3 year warranty that was purchased when I bought the car in April 2017. This says it can be transferred to a new owner to run the remainder of the 16 months left.

Honesty points;
- The car has marks down both sides from bushes when going through tight lanes in the countryside, I have attached a picture of these. As the car is silver they are not very visible other than up close. None of the marks are into the paint and the car would just need a machine polish.
- There is a whining noise coming from one of the pulleys on the auxilliary belt in the engine bay. I replaced a pulley and alternator in an effort to solve this. Having read up, I believe this noise to be the pulley on the air conditioning pump which is common to whine, the air con works fine and has no impact on the car other than the slight noise. The garage checked the pulleys when changing the alternator and confirmed they could not identify any with excessive play, they suspect a dry bearing on one of them but have confirmed there should be no immediate issue.

I am after £7999 for the car. Located in Lytham (FY8 postcode). Feel free to drop me a message on here to discuss further.

Many thanks.
